INTRODUCTION
Stereotypes are a part of our daily life we hear about them everyday and almost everywhere. Sometimes we ourselves become stereotypical maybe when we surround ourselves in a large group, we start judging people on the basis of the personality or persona that they carry around us. Every young or old person is labelled to as negative or a positive person. Stereotype affect the emotions and behaviour of every individual in our society for how they are liable to interact in the society and with the environment. This is one of the main reasons why people have started wearing mask and never show they real sides to us. There are sometimes in life when you do not feel like meeting new people and making new friends this is because we have made ourselves comfortable in a platter. We get afraid that the new people around us will judge and again the colour of us will change.
The question why can not we be us with everyone why do we all wear mask in front of these people?
We all have set our own rules in the world. We all are aware that we are being criticised every single day from the clothes we wear to the weight that we carry on our body. We are all being criticised for the imperfection that we carry in ourselves and this on of the reason that we are not confident enough to open our thoughts.
Hence, we cannot afford all the stereotyping that is going around us as it is unhealthy for every individual. we are not what we are and the thoughts that we carry is not what we want to carry it is just the society that has develop our thinking in such a way that we often forget ourselves. If we say or call a person hippie only because the way they are dressed is not right. Hippie is someone who rejects the culture not someone who dresses weirdly or has long hair. It is considered that girl wearing shorts or short clothes does not carry a good attitude towards the society and in fact some people think that they are inviting boys to have a sexual intercourse with them. Does this type of a thinking really make sense?
We are just not clear with the facts and meaning of words that we use for people around us. This leads to many people not having friends because they are tired of being criticised by people and they end up staying alone. Nowadays people are talking about mental healthy and they say that whatever happens we are here but really it anyone hear with us? The answer is no when a person search that someone is going to be there listening to what they feel we are afraid that this stereotypical society is going to criticise them and judge them. then why are we talking we talking about mental health when in reality no one is going be there listening but we will adopt more and more critics in our life.
Stereotypes have negative impact of how we feel for instances if a boy is stereotyped as fat and black how it is expected by the society that he will feel good about it. This create a lot of mental and psychological pressure. For example, it is said that women are bad driver it creates immense pressure in the min of women while driving around.
This will be led to them trying their level best to prove that this stereotype in them does not exist and if their performance is low, they are afraid that it will leave a negative impact on the stereotypes.
CONCLUSION
Instead of taking out negativity from every human being we should encourage them to do their best and better in life. It is high time to realise that everyone is unique in their own way and that is why we all are different. Imagine god making similar faces and similar bodies. We all should keep stereotypes out of the picture as someday we can also be the victim on the same grounds.
STOP JUDGING PEOPLE EVEN WHEN YOU DO NOT KNOW THEM.
