According to this survey conducted every third year, the average income of rural agricultural families is now more than daily wages than agriculture. The average annual income of a rural household dependent on agriculture is Rs 1 lakh 7 thousand 172, while the average annual income of rural families associated with non-agricultural activities is Rs 87 thousand 228.
