Politician above law (By Pashmeen Kaur  )   Image By:- Shrut Kapadia Introduction  Every now and then we hear someone declare and proudly flaunt about the democracy and constitution that our country follows and has adopted. Over the years we cannot say that the politicians of our country have not improved but they were not able formulate themselves as the earlier leaders were. The preamble of our constitution provides us with liberty, freedom and equality these are considered to be the core value of the India constitution nowadays these core values are rampant and are spread in the narrow form in our country. Liberty is enjoyed by the upper section of the society such as the politicians and they are free from restrictions even when they do not abide the law of our country and still, we call are country to democratic and equal before the eyes of law. The Set of laws that are being formulated are imposed and are expected to be followed by the lower sections of that society and especially

Pen is mightier than sword

Pen is mightier than sword (By Pashmeen Kaur  )   Image By:- Kanishka Sharma INTRODUCTION  “The pen is mightier than the sword” phrase means that the sword has sharp ends and it is powerful enough to enslave people and create a situation of terror in the society. On the other hand, pen power is stronger than the sharp edges of the sword. A sword cannot achieve what a pen can as the pen can understand the mind, soul and heart of the human but a sword cannot. It can only create a situation of terror in the mind of humans.  The sword can just kill humans and destroy families but a pen can write history and can satisfy the human mind. During the time of Independence some used the sword and some of them used the pen to fight against the British rule in India. There is no way a comparison can be drawn between them writing against the British takes the same level of courage to fight against them as well hence everyone has their own way in contributing to the removal of British rule. But it is

Is glass half full or half empty (By Pashmeen Kaur )   Image By:- Jaideep Singh Introduction  We often hear of the term that is the glass half full or is the glass half empty? This is therefore a metaphor that used for someone how they view things in life and around them. If someone is of the opinion that the glass is half empty then the person has a negative and pessimistic approach in life which means that they focus on things that they do not have rather than being grateful to want they have. On the other hand, if someone has a positive and optimistic approach, they will never see their glass empty as they choose to be happy with what they have in life rather than being sad and demotivated with what they do not have. Why are you that type of a person? If you see the glass half empty it means that there is something wrong that you look around the world and life like that. This can lead to many any health care disease such as such as depression, panic attacks and high level of anxiety

Health Scenes- Deficiencies and achievement

Health Scenes- Deficiencies and achievement     (By Pragya Kumar )   Image By:- Sukriti Singh We spent the last few years coughing to the winter breeze and sneezing to the summer showers. Licking up cones of ice cream in the chilly night and gargling the throat vigorously enough to wake the sleeping owls. Spending the sunday afternoon with beverages and potato chips and later cursing the weighing machine for bursting the cloud of obesity. We spent some days shrinking yourself because of the peer pressure and other days soothing our sweet tooth out of frustration. Life has always  been a roller coaster ride and our health  withers away with this ride.  Health is an unrecognized pursuit of our life. It is often overlooked because we are aiming  for money. It is human psychology to believe that money can heal all pain but if there is no human body left to bear the pain then what is the use of this wealth?  I believe when B. K. S Iyengar says that Health is a state of complete harmony of t

How education can eradicate poverty?    (By Aadesh Sharma )   Image By:- Darshika Singh Poverty has become the biggest problem in our country. Even after so many Independence Day, we still get to see poverty in our country, which is an embarrassing scene. We have to stop them as much as possible. Our government should also take a hard step against it. Education is the only way to eradicate poverty because education and poverty are inversely related to each other. The higher the number of education of the population lesser will be the number of poor people. I am going to discuss in my article that How education is the most effective way to eradicating poverty. What is the importance of education to reduce poverty from a country? If we give the education to a child, then he will never go in the child labor. What we think we become!

What we think we become!  (By Suhana Ahmed  )   Image By:- Sukriti Singh "We become what we think about." -Earl Nightingale What validates our life and our intellect? Our thoughts. The thoughts coming across a brain are not just any mere things, they are the ideas, they are what define us, they build us. Our thoughts are responsible for our ideas, fears, success, career and basically everything. That is why having faith in yourselves and believing in yourselves is necessary. People are guided not to be pessimistic because having negative thoughts heightens the level of anxiety and makes us paranoid, which is not good for your mental health. Our mind guides our entire life and it is what makes us go through life. So, the ideas and thoughts allowed into our brain everyday shape our lives and determine our futures. There exists an abstract thing called 'choices' , which are executions of our thoughts. Our choices take us through different lives, our choices impact us and

Mid-day meal schemes and their flaws (By Aadesh Sharma  )   Image By:- Sukriti Singh Mid-Day Meal Scheme “ Mid-Day Meal-For lakhs of children, it is still the only meal of the day ” by Ankush Sharma. For us, the privileged section of the society, we will never know how it feels to sleep hungry . We do not know how it feels to manage just a morsel of food a day. Often at expensive restaurants, as the waiter delays in serving our food, we say “I am dying of hunger”. Do we  know how it feels to die of hunger? No, we don’t. We use these words casually without thinking that in our Nation, each day, lakhs of children go to sleep without getting to eat the entire day. The Government has been devising various schemes for years to curb malnutrition and to provide food for all , but it has failed. Malnutrition and the diseases attached to it remain in our country. We are lucky we never had to think about our food. We always had more than we needed. We waste food without giving it a second th
