SITUATION OF WOMEN IN INDIA

Before the independence of India, the condition of women is not good in India. Women have to endure a lot about their studies, marriage, and security. In older times, if a women's husband died, then she has burnt along with her funeral pyre that things are no longer visible. And women were also married at a young age. But the condition of women is not completely changing women are also suffering even after so much independence of India. We hear every day that there are rapes with little girls. Yesterday I saw the news that a five-year-old girl was gang-raped. Which is an embarrassing scene? Some people's souls are completely dead and become the demon? What will happen to the country in which small girls are not safe? Parents are always concerned about their girls if something goes wrong. Most of the parents do not allow sending their girls outside the house at night. But now gradually some changes are being seen. Peoples are understanding women's power but some people are not giving up the old custom. They believe that women only do their household chores and take care of their children. Now a day many people think the man should work outside and women should work inside the home.

CONDITION CHANGES GRADUALLY

The life of women in ancient days is very difficult, they face many problems in their journey. But now the condition of women is gradually improving in India. Before people think women are a curse, if a girl was born in someone's house, everyone would be sad. But now people understanding women's strength. Our government is also supported by the power of women. The government has reserved some seats for women. According to the law of India, women have to freedom to work on their own. The women are also doing well in politics and sports.

Women are also doing a good job in the field of education. According to the survey, women are more educated as compare to men. It is said that if a woman is educated in a house, she can teach the whole family. Most of all PCS, IAS exam girls are qualified. Women have earned an elevated name in the field of education. Our government is also provided scholarships to women for higher studies. Education is the key to success. Empowering women would become more pertinent. If a woman is well informed and well educated then she can understand every law which is made by the government for the welfare of women.

Women are contributing equally to the development of the modern nation. They are treated equally to pull their family. The husband and wife are like two wheels. One wheel cannot work unless both the wheel works together simultaneously. Now a day's husband respects his wife because he knows the value of wife and important point is mostly husbands are educated therefore they always support their wife in every field. 

Today women are adorned with patience and perseverance, which has helped them to attain the pinnacle of success.

Six ways the government is pushing for women empowerment

  • Beti Bachoo Beti Padhoo Andolan:  Launched on January 22, 2015, in Panipat Haryana, which was organized by the Modi government for the empowerment of women.it aims to generate awareness and also improving the efficiency of welfare services for the girl child

  • Mahila-E-haat: Under the purview of the ministry of women and child development, the government launched Mahila-E-Haat in 2016.

  • Support to training and employment program for women: According to the ministry websites, the assistance under STEP Scheme will be available in any sector for imparting skills related to employability and entrepreneurship, including but not limited to agriculture.

  • Sukanya Samriddi Yojana: The amount can be opened at any India post office or a branch of an authorizes commercial Bank anytime between the birth of the girl child and till the age of 10 years by a parent or guardian.

  • Working Women Hostel: The government launched the working women hostel to ensure the availability of safe, convenient accommodation for working families.

Conclusion:

The situation of women is not completely change in India but situation gradually change. Now women are more educated as compare to man. The government is also take participate in the development of women employment.
