Will there be the End of Mother Earth?

"We are living on this planet as if we have another one to go”

Aren't we humans so great? We got everything! Sense to feel, love, care for our loved ones, show our emotions and more over we can speak and communicate to our own things but still we are facing so much. Have we ever thought even after having all things with us, we still fail to love the most important thing because of which we are alive? “Our Nature”!

Why do we forget that whatever we are, is because of nature? Without it, we found not even be able to survive. We all know the ongoing scenario of world right now; we all facing pandemic situation and are locked inside our houses. We are feeling caged and want to step out of our houses. We are so bored being in four walls in just couple of months so just think about the animals we keep in zoos for our entertainment. Do we think even once before caging them into four walls and treating them according to us, using them as a source of our entertainment and harassing them in circus?

We all are cribbing that 2020 is such a bad year and black year in the history, everything wrong is happening but why don’t we see between the lines and sit back to watch what we did in all those years passed by? Haven't we tortured the “mother earth”. We get so furious and outraged when we see someone's child being brutally murdered or even kidnapped but what about the little tiger's baby you just exported for your own profits? What about the animals you just ate to fulfil your own desires? Where does all those sympathies and cries go when we should speak in favour of those who cannot raise their voices?

We should not be crying for all that we are facing let it be a cyclone or a pandemic or earthquake because it is wisely said “you get what you give”. Where did all those thoughts went When we were destroying forest to make malls and factories, when we were running factories day night to earn money, when we were killing and poaching animals for our own mean profits. Now we should be happy that we earned so much that even if there is scarcity of food because all the farms are being destroyed by locusts finally, we can eat all the money we earned.

Today, all people are so much disturbed hearing the news of “pregnant elephant killed by villagers in Kerala” but why do we not feel bad when we eat cows, goats, camel's and even for that matter all the aquatic species. Where does that pain go? Who has given us the right to kill any animal for that matter and when they kill us just to protect themselves what we do? We cage them, we kill them, make them sleep to death. This is more disturbing because this is the news from a place where there is 97% literacy rate. This shows even being educated cannot make us learn humanity. And irony is even the word “HUMANITY” has HUMAN in it, but we still failed.

We should not be worried by this year is bad instead we should learn a lesson and get our lives back on track and stop harming nature for our own personal motives or every year will be 2020 for us humans. Moreover, why do humans try to dominate nature and its children when we are the ones who came last on it.

Nature is giving all that we gave to her and is treating the way we treated her since ages. All these earthquakes, pandemics and cyclone will keep coming until and unless we learn a great lesson and start to live a life where we stop harming the nature and start to appreciate what all it has given to us because Nature is the only reason we are still alive and with our loved once.

IN THAT TIME, WE HAVE DESTROYED 50% OF IT.”

So the really question is, do we deserve to live here?
