Father - The Real Hero
Father - The Real Hero
( by Neha Soni )
Father- the backbone of the family. The father-children relationship is considered as one of the sacred and vital relationships in the family lives. The role played by fathers in our daily lives is quite important. Indeed, an excellent father teaches the children to face the challenges of daily lives successfully and tries wholeheartedly to meet the requirements of the family.
For everybody, their Dad is a Superman or maybe Batman regardless of how stubborn you are and the mistakes you do. For all of us, Dad serves us as a Mom for somebody or maybe a friend but their love for being with their children is eternal.
Why father doesn’t express their love?
Many men have been fooled into believing that the love they should have for their families is somewhat of a non-displaying one. Men get a lot of mixed opinions for fatherhood. Society wants them to be committed to their career. Co-workers and even bosses might think it's great that a man has children and a loving family. It might even be seen as a source of strength and stability. But he is not allowed to put his family above his job. The job comes first, and whatever is leftover, he is free to do as he wishes. No wonder many fathers go home late from work, oftentimes while their children are asleep.
The reason why dads are the hero:-
1. Dad teaches them discipline:-
While a mother coddles and protects her child, a father disciplines him/her. More often than not, he teaches his child right and wrong. He is the moral compass with which the child learns to navigate the right direction of life.
2. A father leads by example:-
A child always learns and picks up work ethics from his father. When he sees his father doing household chores, he does the same. A father who is efficient at office work inspires his child to be a radical professional as well. A father who can maintain a decent work-life balance is a perfect model for his child.
3. Daddy teaches from his child's mistakes:-
A father teaches his child that failure isn’t the end of life. He shares the lessons he has learnt from failure with his child so that he can avoid making identical mistakes.
4. Father is reliable:-
Even though he may have a business meeting with a client or an important presentation to create, a good father will always make time for his children. A father who is there for his children when they need him is reliable and therefore will always have his children's trust.
5. Dad never gives up on you:-
A father is a first and best cheerleader for his child. Although he could also be tough on him, but he has the best interest at heart. He will always cheer him on and encourage him to be the best they can achieve.
6. Daddy is a problem solver:-
Fathers hear problems and will do whatever is in their power to get their children out of trouble. The child may dig in a well of problems but a father will always be there for his child, ready with a solution.
7. A father is a trusted advisor:-
Fathers are the best advisers. Be it something as small as a school project or something as life-altering like which college course to decide on, a father's input can make all the difference.
8. Dad is a tough taskmaster:-
Fathers do not cut up the words when it involves their child’s well-being. Usually, a father wants his child to come out on top of everything whatever they do and, the only way to do that is to be critical with the work. His criticism is positive and constructive and can mold the child well.
9. A father is fun:-
Though a father is assigned with the tag of being the disciplinarian of the family, he is also fun to be around. He knows when to take a break and relax along with his child. Be it playing a game of cricket or sitting down for a dollhouse tea party, a father knows how to engage his child and nurture the fun side.
10. Father wants best for his child:-
Whatever the circumstances, a father will always want what's best for his child. And a father will make sure the child gets it irrespective of the price he has to pay for it. This quality makes a father his child's most adorable hero.
Message to all the Fathers:-
Fathers, don’t feel shy and awkward to express your love to your children. Your love for them helps them feel safe emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually. Remember, if your peers tease at you for going directly home after work and choosing family time over sharing time with them, one day their laughter will turn into sadness.
Men, who intensely love their families, live longer and happier lives. We also know that children whose fathers are actively involved in their lives do better at school, even in single-parent families. Remember fathers, once you don't love children as intensely as their mothers do, you're causing an imbalance within the family equilibrium, thus increasing the chance of childhood rebellion.
Fathers, your sons, and daughters need your intense love. They need your hugs, kisses, smiles, affirming words, and ever-present energy. They need your love. Fathers, society needs your love. God created you to love as intensely and deeply as mothers do. Love, dear fathers, love!
