Education in India is a Growing Business

Education in India is a Growing Business

( by Shubhangi Paliwal )

The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act or Right to Education Act (RTE) is an Act of the Parliament of India enacted on 4 August 2009, which describes the modalities of the importance of free and compulsory education for children between the age of 6 to 14 years in India under Article 21A of the Indian Constitution. India became one of 135 countries to make education a fundamental right of every child when the act came into force on 1 April 2010.

Everyone has a right to Education but now it depends on how much money you have. How much you invest in your child's education. In India education is not free for the poor, it is very expensive, and based on that, education is provided.

Private (rich kid school) provides-
• Great infrastructure
• Good teachers
• Stressful environment
• Greater opportunities
• Quality education
• High fee structure

Government school provides-
• Poor Infrastructure
• Lazy teacher
• Low-quality education
• Friendly Atmosphere
• Low fee

We can say nowadays education is turning into business byIn private schools, we have to buy copies and books from a particular shop suggested by the school, because in this way they get a commission from the shop, parents think that the child is getting a quality education.

Nowadays it is very easy to open a playgroup for children or a school for primary education by giving donations. All this becomes a part of the business.

Education became a business because everyday school /institute/collages are opening. They don’t aim to educate the children/youth but to increase their funds and their brands and earn money and fulfil their greed. Schools took money in name of development fee, building fee, tuition fee, games fee, cultural event fee, etc.

The unemployment rate is increasing why?
Because our education system is more about quantity, not quality more about passing the exams getting the degree not about learning something new being creative or learn moral values and ethics.

A small story:- a student belongs to a moderate family

But there are some private/governmental/NGOs who knew the true value of education and how it is going to grow India like IITs, NITs, Kendriya Vidyalayas, etc.

But the government is trying to make the education system better and now we have alternative options like through the internet.

On the internet, young youth understood the value of true education and helps others who are not willing to get an education because of financial problems.

On the internet, many platforms and websites are helping our students by providing free quality content but for that, we have to be more aware and spread these things to everyone so everyone can participate in this.

If the government is lacking in education development then we have to take charge and do something about it.

We have YouTube/Google(famous social media platforms) if you think you have something /anything that educates and help others then don’t hesitate to be a part of the development process Jai Hind Jai Bharat.
