Deforesting the Nature
Deforesting the Nature
‘We are not
cutting the trees; we are cutting our life span’
Deforestation
is an activity that has affected most of our lives. It is a process of
permanent removal of trees and making a room for other human activities. The
question is "Are those activities more important than human life?".
The land is usually used for agriculture, grazing, and some other manufacturing
activities which could take place by preserving nature as well. Forest
cover more than 30% of the Earth's land surface and this 30% of the forest
cover can provide food, medicine, and fuel. To billions of people across the globe.
Forest is an essential resource and other activities can be continued on the
undeveloped swaths of land.
EFFECTS
OF DEFORESTATION
SITUATION
OF DROUGHT –
Drought is the situation which is beyond human control but the only thing the human can
control is the deforestation as it results in drought.
Humans have
settled themselves into the areas with adequate and predictable precipitation.
Forests play an important role in generating rainfall. The trees store the
moisture lifting up into the atmosphere. According to the research 1000L of
water vapor per day is transmitted into the atmosphere. The entire amazon
forests send up to 20 billion tons of water per day.
The results
have shown that during evapotranspiration rates in the primary forest were higher
during the drought than the wet year, suggest that old-growth forests in the region may be quite repentant to the situation of drought. So, even during dry
spell the tress keep pumping the water into the atmosphere
Deforested the land is converted by the sun’s energy to heat effectively aggravating the
drought situation.
THREAT
TO HUMAN LIFE
The evil the activity of deforestation is not only affecting drought situation but it is
also a major cause of affecting human lives.
Deforestation
leads to other life-threatening diseases such as Malaria and Dengue. The loss of
forests can cause an incubator for insect-borne and other infectious diseases
that can endanger human life.
The latest
piece of growing scientific bodies in India has shown result that cutting down
of large swaths of the forest has a major impact on human life. The land
development is in the process and urgently needs to divert the attention of the
government. As the corona pandemic has also inflicted so many human life but we
could protect ourselves by preserving the trees so that no other such disease
threatens human life.
Scientist
are scared that the next pandemic could come out of the forest and spread
quickly around the world.
AFFECT
ON THE WILDLIFE
Forest is a natural habitat for wild animals and not just the wild animals but also other
living beings such as birds, aquatic animals, and insects.
Imagine
losing your house, freedom, and comfort. We cannot even think of our losing home
the place where we all are safe and secure but we are easily destroying the
homes of animals.
For example;
a bird takes care of her babies by building a nest and by cutting down the forest we simply killing the animals and their safe place and homes.
DEFORESTATION
ALSO LEADS TO STARVATION IN ANIMALS
The forest
consist of eco-system each and every animal is interdependent. Herbivorous
animals such as zebra, deer, etc survive on plants and grass at the same time
serve food to the carnivorous animals such as lion and tiger, etc.
Deforestation
takes away these food sources and starvation occurs. Animals migrate in search
of food and security which leads to a quest for survival and scarcity.
CONCLUSION
‘Save the
mother earth, save the planet we have heard about the quote million times but
have we ever tried working on it the answer. So it is of utmost importance for
all of us to realize the value and beauty of mother earth.
LET’S SAVE
THE HOME FOR ANIMALS AND MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE FOR ANIMALS AND US TO LIVE.
