For us, the privileged section of the society, we will never know how it feels to sleep hungry . We do not know how it feels to manage just a morsel of food a day. Often at expensive restaurants, as the waiter delays in serving our food, we say “I am dying of hunger”. Do we  know how it feels to die of hunger? No, we don’t. We use these words casually without thinking that in our Nation, each day, lakhs of children go to sleep without getting to eat the entire day. The Government has been devising various schemes for years to curb malnutrition and to provide food for all , but it has failed. Malnutrition and the diseases attached to it remain in our country. We are lucky we never had to think about our food. We always had more than we needed. We waste food without gi...

Dowry death is still prevalent in India (By Pashmeen Kaur  )   Image By:- Sukriti Singh Introduction  In patriarchal society such as India the status of the women is still vulnerable. It is the girl child education that has been always sacrificed and they are expected to just take care of the family and the young ones. The Dowry system is an evil activity and one the major reasons why girl child education is being sacrificed. It is due to the family's irregular financial condition they save money for giving dowry to the future husband of the daughter. Sometimes a woman in the martial house is forced to get money from her parents and if she fails to do so she has to face domestic violence. The Dowry system has led to treating a girl child in her own house like a guest. Dowry means giving money, property, jewellery etc as a gift to the groom’s family. There are several reasons for the prevalence of the dowry but the core reason is that it is the precondition of the g...

And women were also married at a young age. But the condition of women is not completely changing women are also suffering even after so much independence of India. We hear every day that there are rapes with little girls. Yesterday I saw the news that a five-year-old girl was gang-raped. Which is an embarrassing scene? Some people's souls are completely dead and become the demon? What will happen to the country in which small girls are not safe? Parents are always concerned about their girls if something goes wrong. Most of the parents do not allow sending their girls outside the house at night. But now gradually some changes are ...
