Introduction 

Humans are a vital part of the planet earth they have been inhabiting since a very long time now. Each generation has been seen with different qualities and they have adapted themselves with it. And this what exactly creates a generation gap. It is completely normal to have generation gap as the humans are evolving and changing for the better.

Generation gap- impact on relations 

It always nice to have good ideas and different point of views as times flies with that people change and they start looking at things differently and a generation gap takes places sometimes it can prove to be fruitful but sometimes it can have negative impact  as it can create misunderstanding between the two generation. The most common generation gap is the gap between the parents and their children.

The parents are unable to understand their child and vice versa which crates a lot of misunderstanding between them. this generation required understanding and a friendly relation with their parents. When parents often try to control, they get aggressive. As the children nowadays are modern and have modern approach towards things. So, they refuse to accept the traditional ways of their parents. 

This has become a core reason that leads to separation the family both the partied refuse to understand each other and end living separately.

The problem is not just between the parents but also between the grandparents as the generation gap is so much that the grandparents also get against it as they expect things to work in the similar way that used to work in their generation. 

How to bridge the gap? 

All the relation is breaking like biscuits we often forget how important it is to maintain a good relation with one another. There is no stranger bound than a kid and parents but that too are breaking. It is disheartening to see that precious relation breaks due to generation gap between them.

In other words, difference in opinion and difference in thinking does not mean that people should gave their relation with one another instead they should understand each other. From the side of the parents they should understand that the time changes and so does the people around us they should understand and support their child with difficulties in life and not fight against them. 

Moreover, there should be friendly relation with one another the child should be free to express themselves freely without any boundaries and tradition restriction.

Understanding and communication is best thing to deal with each other rather setting boundaries.

If the person does not understand what the other person is saying then they should rather get into a debating platform they should calmly understand each other. People should be open about their ideas and should accept the ideas and thoughts of other people. We should teach children tradition and values but also should learn things from them.  

Learning of things go both the ways parents always think that they are more experienced and child is less but I think the parent should let the child fall in life and let them grow and learn the parent jib should be there to support them. make them feel safe not suffocated.

Especially the understanding should be more and both the parents should interact more during the age of teenage as many thing attract in this age which might not be good for them. body undergoes a lot of changes and mood swings. Understanding and communication increases in this stage.

Conclusion 

No matter how much is the age gap communication to each other requires no age so many people and children are going into depression because they are not able to talk to their parents about their wishes and needs.
