The educational value of travelling

Introduction 

Travelling is recognized as the most essential thing for great educational values. A person experience more in the practical world than in theories and reading. In the western advanced travelling is considered to be the most essential asset. Going to various places and has been delightful for people as they meet new people and have a different exposure towards the life. Nowadays travelling has become more comfortable and better moving trains, duplex buses, aeroplanes or ships etc. it has yet become more comfortable. Therefore, travelling is a powerful aid to education the one thing that books cannot provide us is the adventure of travelling and meeting new people. It is important for education because it provides them with basic knowledge and therefore makes the study looks more interesting as the person would have experienced about the same in their lifetime. By travelling we all get to know the different culture, tradition, caste, colour, brands etc and their style of living. On this basis only the observation can be set in the society and the salt that is missing in the particular country or state can be fulfilled up the same. This helps in better understanding it broadens our view and sharpen our outlook. It helps in better communication skills and somehow some people try and learn some other languages while travelling such as Urdu, Spanish, French, German etc. therefore it is observed that people who travel more has more experience and knowledge that the person who reads and learn how to communicate from books. Mere books cannot give the lifetime opportunity to develop your personality only travelling education can give.

Visual impression is the impression it leaves a print our mind for long time.

Each and every problem that we read in books could be experienced by sitting around with such people and then a team of people could be formed to help them. life itself is the biggest school and teacher all of us but we sometimes give up only because of the mental pressure that is caused by others without realising that there are still many beautiful places to discover. It creates a feeling of belonginess and brotherhood in the society. History could be boring in the books and magazines but in reality, if children are taken to such places the learning of the same becomes so easy. It also increases business commercial activities.

Situation in India

People in India only refer marks as an education criterion they just want swallow up the thing that they have learnt and vomit it on their answer sheets during the examination. No one likes to experience the real fun of history or geography around us even the school do not initiate such tripe that helps in better learning of the child. People who come from a poor background cannot afford to experience these places but the schools and education department of our country should take initiatives as they also deserve the travelling education not only in books but also by visiting such places in reality.

It can make a huge difference in our country as people will become more educated and would live with more patience and with the feeling of brotherhood.

He or she faces the fury of robbers, climbing hills, meet new people etc these things make people more strong and powerful. They would know how to face challenges in life.

Conclusion

Even though if we observe the teaching of geography and history could be made interesting in our classrooms through teaching by travelling to such places. Travelling is very essential as it boost up one’s confidence and can teach us about the beauty of nature and how to respect different culture, traditions etc in our society.
