The genial bearing of society towards autism:-

We all are created differently with respect to race, color, caste, or creed, and we all are special no matter what. As we have different features and face our mind also have their capability and these disabilities different from every individual.

As autistic pride Day is near, let's take a look at the significance of this day and a new beginning to the entire humanity.

Autistic Pride day celebrates the neurodiversity of people in the Autism spectrum. Autism spectrum disorder(ASD) is an intricate development disorder of the brain which occurs in children during three consecutive years of their life. The concept of Autism was initiated by aspics for freedom (AFF). The organization started arranging events, camps, and campaigns to persuade people about the fact that people who are suffering from autism are not the treatment cases but are unique individuals. The Autistic Pride day was firstly held in 2005 in Brazil with the theme of “acceptance not cure”. The various themes of autistic Pride day to enlighten the entire humankind were:

- Autistic speaks recognize

- Respect

- Include

- It's time to listen

- Celebrate neurodiversity

It was inspired by LGBT pride events. Autism people themselves started the event of the Autism community.

Autistic Pride day is connected to autism, which is a neurodiversity development disorder that affects information processing in the brain. The rainbow Infinity symbol of autistic Pride day represents “diversity with infinite variations and infinite possibilities” to such people.

But, many autistics disagree with the word “disorder” and explained Autism as a different perspective of Being Human and there is no need to cure a person with autism.

Autism is often described as a disorder that affects one out of 68 children which makes it the third fastest-growing development disorder in India. It does not only affect normal brain functionality but also affects interaction skills and communication. Autistic Pride day is celebrated to raise awareness and understanding of autistic people, who can offer ton if they are not pushed away from society. People with Autism have unique characteristics rewards and challenges, if the society accepts those people with respect, we all would be benefited from their honesty, creativity, and intelligence demonstrated by so many people of the Autism community.

Autistic poses sensorily information differently, that is why they are more sensitive to touch, sound, sights, and taste than any other non-autistic people. People suffering from Autism may not have the same or may have the same behavior.

Autistic Pride Day is an opportunity and a new beginning to entire humankind. Through the celebration of this day, it is showing that they are proud of autistic and even they are not a disease or defective or in a need of cure. This day is celebrated on 18th June every year and bring awareness about autism and autistic have many rights to live a happy and fulfilled life as neurotypicals.

On this day, autistic people speak for themselves and celebrate the unique way that Autism affects each of them. It builds self-acceptance among people with autism, self-worth, and building Pride which can reverse the psychological thinking of people regarding autism.

Conclusion:-

Autism Pride Day is more than just an opportunity, to prove autistic worth in society and Autism is a part of a huge amount of human diversity.

Autism till now can be treated only with education or therapy and not with medical science. A person suffering from Autism has to go through various conditions of allergies, asthma, ADHD, and intellectual diseases too.

Despite their unique characteristics, people do not accept them, this day is celebrated worldwide to provide self-worth to such people and thereby bring a gale in entire humankind. Apparently, there have been autistic people as long as humans are there and I just wish people are more accepting of idiosyncrasies and being unlike.

I do not want Autism awareness, at least not by itself,

I want Autism understanding, friendship, respect, love, and acceptance.
