Pecuniary Schooling

School life is the pre-eminent part of one's life because it provides opportunities for study and the overall development of students. School’s main aim is to nurture and reproduce the future Champions and is the preparatory stage of students for entering public life.

Why one should go to school?

(1) The school helps in finding out their major.

(2) The school develops networking and social skills.

Now the question arises about the need for government schools?

Government schools are controlled by local state or national government, and they are funded by taxation.  Government school precedes the usefulness over the private institutions as India's 60% child population depends on government schools.

Public schools are the only recourse for the low economic group students and private institutions do not accommodate such students.

Reasons behind the requirement of Government schools are:

Cost

Government schools are quite affordable and mandated education for all children with fewer charges, on the other hand, private schools charge hefty amounts.

Infrastructure

Government schools provide the required infrastructure to meet the basic needs and on the other hand, private schools provide the superior infrastructure and protracted facilities and in return, charges costly accommodation.

Diversity

More diversity is acknowledged in government schools due to exorbitant students from different cultures or income levels.

Qualification of teachers in the government school has to clarify the state-mandated requirement and hence they are more proficient and fledged than faculties of private schools.

Academic opportunities

As per CBSE Class XIIth results, 2019, Delhi's Government schools perform drastically well than private schools in academics with a 94.24 pass percentage

Extracurricular opportunity's

Government schools often provide basic sports facilities and physical education to children.

Good assistance to faculty

Teachers and management faculties in Government schools get overshadowed by such Private institutions.

Policies

Government school initiated the policy of "education to a girl child"

"Beti Bachao Beti padhao" and "free and compulsory education to all"

• Government schools provide education to galore students without discrimination and in complementary to this private Institutions vent the low economic group students.

• Government schools are needed more rather than private schools to deterrence the biases and exhort that right to education is everyone's freedom.

• Few NGOs are helping the government in dispelling the dark cloud of illiteracy such as:

Light De Literacy:-

An NGO of a socially active and determined group of community aims to provide quality education to the children of unprivileged areas, and working for children living in slums since 2012 and currently teaching 800-1000 children daily at different locations.

Their motto is Educate*Empower*Enlighten.

Conclusion:-

There's nothing to vacillate that private schools are aloof than the Government schools, and they precede in forms of their superior infrastructure, better teacher to student ratio, maintains a clean and hygiene facilities, lavish environment and good academics and extracurricular activities. Government schools cannot provide such superior facilities but for those who cannot afford the peculiarities of private institutions, enabling their children to become literate in government school is better than no schooling.
